Have a BB-8 Christmas!
Here is this year's Christmas card. I never did finish last years card (first time in 20+ year's I didn't get one done) so I wanted to make sure I got this one done early. I created it entirely in Adobe Illustrator so that I could potentially animate it later. Here's the line art and the finished card:

HDR Holiday Card
Here is the Holiday Card I illustrated for my day job this year. I haven’t done one for them in several years, so it was kind of a nice change for me.

Mike Mignola's Hellboy
Hellboy is such a fun character. Mike Mignola created a gem with this guy, so many fun stories to read. The Hellboy movies were great, but the comics are so much more. As are the novels. I've drawn lots of Hellboy pictures over the years, this particular one is the raw inks to a quick skecth I did a few months ago.

A Shiny New Website!
I know what you're thinking… Finally an update! (I know, I know, it's been forever, sorry…) Please bear with me as I work out a few minor kinks and finish revamping the last of the pages. But while you're here, click around and check things out. I've added some new art as well as a ton of older art, with lots more one the way!
Enjoy,
Justin
Mars Attacks® Invasion! Sketch Cards
Click on the logos below to see some of the artwork for the Mars Attacks® Invasion! sketch cards I did for Topps®. The original sketch cards were randomly inserted into the packs of cards as an incentive to buyers. So if you bought any packs and happened to get lucky you could have gotten one of these, or one created by any of the other many talented artists who contributed cards.
Jordan Spieth
Here is my 2016 golf invitation artwork. I wanted to try out painting in a program other than Photoshop, so I painted this in Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro. I like the texture that came with painting in Sketchbook. The workflow was about the same, so the learning curve wasn't that big of a deal. I only used the basic paint brush for the entire thing.
Painted in Sketchbook Pro using a WACOM Cintiq Companion 2.
De'Mornay Pierson-El
Here is my 2015 football invitation artwork. This year I featured #15 De'Mornay Pierson-El, Sophomore, Wide Receiver for the University of Nebraska. I painted this piece entirely in Photoshop.
Painted using Photoshop CC and a Wacom Cintiq.
Natalie Gulbis
Here is my 2015 golf invitation artwork. Since last year's football invitation turned out pretty good, decided to also paint this piece entirely in Photoshop.
